Crisis conversations zine - fundraising for I AM HOPE and Life Matters

$266 of $500 goal

Art student fundraising for two crucial mental health trusts in Aotearoa, I AM HOPE and Life Matters.

Dunedin, Otago

My name is Mikey Clayton and I am a second year Printmaker studying at the Dunedin School of Art. For my final project this year I have created an 8-page zine to fundraise for two crucial foundations in Aotearoa. I have created this give a little page as a way to allow those who are unable to grab a physical copy to still support the cause. A digital and printable copy of my zine will be available to those who donate.

As someone who has struggled with my own mental health while navigating a broken healthcare system, I can not emphasise enough how vital these two groups can be for vulnerable individuals who find themselves slipping through the cracks.

Thank you for helping me to support I AM HOPE The Key to Life Charitable Trust and Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust. No one should have to be in a crisis to access quality mental health healthcare in New Zealand.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
