Crushing the Steepest street in World (min 62/max 135 climbs) in SHOES and 50KM at Naseby in GUMMIES to support farmers and Mental Health NZ

Otago

To most people around who knows me, I'm slightly a mad runner who love challenges either running a Queenstown marathon in gumboots, running 15 hours 50km at Mt.Cargil Dunedin in Gumboots and Overall over the night or running Alps2ocean ultra 326km I love it all.

As Running and walking are great ways to alleviate depression, relieve stress, and lower blood pressure.

So to encourage people this year I have decided to attempt (min 62climbs(Marathon)and max 135climbs (Mt.everest)) at The steepest street in World (Baldwin Street) Dunedin on Saturday 5 June 2021 in running SHOES and Naseby Water race ultra 50km in gumboots and Overall on Saturday 28 August 2021 to show my support to farmers and to fundraiser for mental health foundation of New Zealand.

As Mental Illness is a serious issue in NZ and is often ignored. There are almost 500 deaths a year in NZ due to suicide and this number is not decreasing. In the world, someone dies as a result of suicide every 40 seconds. It has been found that approximately 1/3 of kiwis will suffer with mental distress in their life time. This is not an issue we should be ignoring, but it is something we should take action upon and try to make a difference so it's my turn to play my role for the community.
