I'm Ella and I am taking on the 50k challenge as an individual. Living in Golden Bay, we know how lucky we are to have the rescue chopper.

My name is Ella and I am from Golden Bay! I am doing this challenge to raise money and give back for the Nelson Marlborough rescue chopper! We are so so lucky to have them in our rural community helping saving lives and all that the team do. I will never forget when my son Harry had a really bad accident and they couldn’t fly the chopper in due to really stormy weather but one of the teams paramedics still came all the way over with the ambulance crew to help. Not only that they have helped me and many many of our community. For them I and many others will always be grateful! This is such an awesome cause to get behind and support especially because you may never know when you may need them! We are so lucky!
