16 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with a very rare form of Leukemia, and a life-long drug still keeps him in remission today. I have been growing my hair for 3 years to donate it for wigs for people who lose their hair during cancer treatment. Despite being bullied constantly about my hair, I kept growing it so that I can donate it and also raise money for the Leukemia and Blood Foundation of NZ so more research can be done to cure cancer. I am having my hair cut by Lush Hair in Silverdale on 13/09/22 and they will donate it for me. Thank you for supporting me.

I took the plunge last week and had all my hair cut off and donated for wigs for children with cancer or alopecia. I surpassed my $1000 target and reached a whopping $1600 which will be directly donated to Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand.
