Running to raise funds and awareness for heart disease ❤️

Bay of Plenty

Heart disease is New Zealands single biggest killer. Every 90 minutes a New Zealander dies from heart disease and many of these deaths are premature and preventable. The Heart Foundation does amazing work and their research helps save the lives of thousands of our loved ones each year.

The cause is particularly close to my heart as the work of heart charities helped to save the lives of both of my grandads, giving us many more years with them. I supported the British Heart Foundation whilst I lived in the UK and now I am lucky enough to live at the other side of the world I would love to support the New Zealand Heart Foundation.

I have set myself the challenge of running 26.2km on 2 June to raise funds for this amazing cause and what a better place to do it than along the ocean front and around Mount Maunganui! It certainly won’t be lacking an incredible view!

I appreciate any support you can give. Thank you so much!!
