Help us to create a place to sit, pause, reflect and connect!
Christchurch Community House Te Whakaruruhau ki Otautahi is the waka for connection; the hub to support all. Our mission is to connect a sustainable, reliable and enduring community. Our space supports over 25 community organisations offering a wide range of services and support within our walls. But we work beyond those walls too - in Tupuanuku Kete, a food basket in the heart of the city. Here everyone is welcome to come and take what they need to have a great feed from this garden, created at Matariki in 2022. This community food basket is kept beautiful and bountiful by valued volunteers - it is sustainable and enduring.
To grow more connection, we need your help to create a place to sit - a place to rest - a place to reflect 0 and a place to connect. This vibrant space will enhance the wellbeing of those who work within the building, those who visit the building, and the passersby.
Your donation will enable the creation of a vibrant welcome place where people can spend quality time and make connections.
