Four Farm Source employees run Kirikirioa relay marathon in support of Blood Cancer NZ

Hamilton, Waikato

Four of us from the Fonterra Farm Source head office—Stephen, Chris, Shane, and Ryan—are taking on the Kirikiriroa relay marathon, covering the full 42km between us, to raise funds for blood cancer research and support. This cause is deeply personal, as we recently lost a respected colleague and dear friend to blood cancer. While none of us would call ourselves elite runners, we believe this is a meaningful way we can challenge ourselves and contribute to something that truly matters. We’re running to honour our colleague’s memory and to help support others affected by blood cancer, and we’re grateful for any support you can give. If you are keen to come down and show your support, the race will start at 8am on Saturday, 6th June. Find more details in the following link: https://www.kirikiriroamarathon.co.nz/

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
