Big Brothers Big Sisters Christchurch facilitates mentoring for over 140 kids and young people in Christchurch, but that number is just the 'peak of the mountain'. There are hundreds of children in Christchurch who desperately need mentors. We need your help to make that happen.
Alongside others, Richie will be climbing (and Lydia will be supporting) the 8,800m Mt Everest virtually on the walls of Clip’n’Climb on November 7 as part of The Big Climb fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Christchurch.

Well we made it to the top! We reached the summit of Mt Everest on Thursday the 7th ahead of schedule. Some of us are worse for wear as a result but it is true to say that we are in great spirits. Why? Because of the sponsorship and messages of support we received from you all. The event raised an amazing $10,000 which will support seven young people with a mentor. We could not have done this without your help and we look forward to seeing the impact the mentors have in the lives of these young people. Thanks so much for your support! Lydia & Richie
