My name is Tina Parkinson & I am raising funds for Frocktober
WHAT IS FROCKTOBER?
It is a fundraising event for Ovarian Cancer Research. The aim is to wear a frock (dress) every day of October to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Research. This year I am fund raising through Givealittle so I can donate funds raised to NZ Ovarian cancer research.
WHY DO I PARTICIPATE?
I feel its a very worthy cause & being that I have been blessed to have many strong women in my life I fundraise in respect to them. I’m a big lover of op shop clothes so I choose to wear dresses that have be gifted to me or cost me no more than $15 hoping to show it doesn’t cost much to spruce oneself up. Whilst fundraising my aim is also to make the world a touch brighter with my love of colour & spread some Peace Love & Happiness.
