Fundraising for Kidscan
I want to fundraise for kidscan because child poverty is an issue within nz and kidscan is the charity I think will help the issue the most.

Child poverty. It affects over 240,000 children in New Zealand and 174,000 kids live in food insecurity based homes. Various news articles have stated that the children facing these problems are most likely to leave school without having completed even NCEA level 1. Kidscan helps stop the ongoing cycle of child poverty by providing food, warm jackets, solid shoes and feminine hygiene products for kids in need. They want to give the kids living in these circumstances, equal opportunities as the more fortunate.

For a social studies project at school, we are looking at social issues. The one we have decided to focus on is child poverty. We want to help fundraise for kidscan because they are a charity that helps to stop the ongoing cycle of child poverty.
