On 26th August 2023, I will be running the Mount Maunganui Half Marathon (21km) and I am fundraising for Hospice Waikato and Rainbow Place!
“Hospice Waikato helps people who are living with a terminal illness to live life to its fullest, while providing comfort and specialist palliative care.
Hospice care looks after the needs of a person through medical and nursing care along with emotional, social and physical support. It is a specialist palliative care service that is free of charge.”
“Rainbow Place is New Zealand's only specialist children's and young person's Hospice service. It is where children, young people and their families/whānau can find care and support throughout this most difficult time. We offer compassionate care and support, tailored specifically to you and your child's needs.”
