Hospice Waikato provides a variety of specialised care services for people with life-limiting illnesses.

Hospice Waikato provides palliative care services as well as counselling and therapeutic support for all ages for patient and their families. All services are provided at no charge to patients and families. Hospice Waikato’s Rainbow Place also makes us the only Hospice in New Zealand that offers a specialist child-focused palliative care service. https://www.facebook.com/hospicewaikato

Hospice Waikato was founded in 1981. Today the demand for Hospice Waikato services across the region continues to increase, putting additional demand on services and funding. In 2012-2013, 888 people were referred to Hospice Waikato – an increase of 28 percent from the previous year.
