I'm walking Te Araroa AKA the length of New Zealand but cycling the Auckland - Whanganui stretch.

I'll start by travelling Cape Reinga to Wellington then I'm planning to fly from Wellington to Bluff to walk the South Island northwards, finishing in Wellington around 5 months after I started. I thought I'd use the opportunity to explore my beautiful country on foot to help those in a country who often have no choice but to travel on foot in dangerous conditions to access life-saving health care. The funds raised will go towards a much needed ambulance for people who live in a rural area of eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
