Facebook likes are great, but unfortunately, they don't save penguins. We need your donations to help save our endangered native species.

Without donations, The Wildlife Hospital would not be able to operate.
The yellow-eyed penguin is one of the world's rarest penguin species. Unique to New Zealand, they are unfortunately endangered, with numbers rapidly declining due to a number of environmental threats. When these penguins are admitted to The Wildlife Hospital, they often have life-threatening injuries.
Yellow-eyed penguins require a lot of resources to treat. It costs $10 a day just to feed one penguin. Surgical procedures quickly add up with dressings, nurse and vet fees totalling up to $1331 per penguin. Help patch up our penguins and get them back to where they belong – in the ocean.
Thank you for getting this far. Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated.
