Donate now and help us commission a new community mural in St Albans
Christchurch, Canterbury
St Albans' newest community garden, Kohinga Māra, has been donated a portacom and we want to make it a feature in this budding project.
Help us raise funds to commission mural artist Koryu Aoshima to brighten up the building with a design inspired by the produce of the garden.
The community aspect of the garden won’t just stop with the creation of the mural, it is a theme that will continue to shape the space. This is a place where people will come together to grow food, learn about gardening, and where volunteers and those who care about the community can donate their time to creating a green space in the middle of the City and provide food for others. Come down and have a look @ 130 Caledonian Road
The mural on the Kohinga Māra Garden Shed is painted 13 July 2022
