10hr sled push for mental health

Blockhouse Bay, Auckland

Adam and I both struggle with mental health and both love working out, we wanted to put something together and give back. We came up with a sled push, pushing each other back and forth for 10hrs.

We saw it as a chance to show that pushing your brother on a sled symbolizes a way to keep someone going when times get tough, a way to push and lift someone up from hard times and a way to show that no matter how hard it gets someone always has your back.

We hope with your support we can raise enough money for the Mental Health Foundation NZ that enough of our brothers and sisters will feel supported, loved and heard.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
