Participating in BNI Otago Ice Bath Challenge 2026

I'm taking the plunge once more for the BNI Otago Ice Bath Challenge 2026, raising funds for Otago Community Hospice.

I'd love it if you could get behind me and help me hit my target of $500 - together with the other Ice Bath Challengers we are hoping to reach $8k!

I will be assembling my costume for the day, based on amounts donated - the more support I receive the crazier the outfit!

Change of date! 22 July 2026

A quick update - the date of the ice bath challenge has been shifted to Sunday 09 August. The venue became unavailable on the original day for our planned plunge, so it's been pushed out two weeks.

We will still be hosted at the amazing upstairs space at Well + Being.

BNI Otago Ice Bath Challenge 2026

This is BNI Octagon's fourth annual Ice Bath Challenge fundraiser, taking the plunge for Otago Community Hospice.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
