Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a car? RHW is looking to raise funds for a new mode of delivery to bring our services to the community.

Waikato

Right now there are rainbow whaanau throughout the Waikato that are struggling with their identity, and need support as they navigate their way. Our region is widespread and many of our community members are isolated rurally, with very little access to resources or support.

Our mission as a grassroots charity is to meet our rainbow whaanau where they are. We want to empower our individual community members in their own space, at their own pace.

The next big way we can do that is through an upgraded mode of transport, to help bring our support to you! We need YOUR help to roll out the Rainbow Roadshow.

Rainbow Hub Waikato has a long standing reputation for tailoring our services to the community, and this is our next step to serve our whaanau in an empowering and sustainable way.

Can you contribute to this amazing mahi and help the rainbow community within the Waikato? Donate now!

Join us on our modular expansion as we roll out the Rainbow Roadshow to you.

Generosity Generator Update  7 November 2023

Thank you for your generosity during this campaign. It was an interesting learning experience for us and we’re thankful for our gifters and sponsors.

So what did our rainbow roadshop look like with your donations? The funds raised were used alongside other funding to empower our education team to engage with young people across the Waikato, in areas such as Thames, Paeroa, Raglan, and Te Awamutu.

A quote from a participant: “At first I wasn't aware of such negative behaviours that the rainbow community experiences - but after your talk it really opened my eyes to have an understanding of how the rainbow community can be better supported.”
