Josh for I AM HOPE - 2023

Hey team my names Josh you know me as the manager at Snap Fitness Mt Wellington and this year me & the team are fundraising in support of mental health awareness in New Zealand. I would like to spread the importance of our overall well-being and the essential work that is done by I AM HOPE.

As a full time Gym Manager & dad of 3 prioritising my physical and mental well-being can be hard, but as someone that has gone through depression and mental health struggles, I know personally just how beneficial exercise is for physical health is and can be on our mental state.

This year I will be participating in "TRAIN THE TRAINER", which gives our gym members the opportunity get their own back & to pick the exercises they want me to do whilst spreading awareness and donating towards I am Hope. I will be putting my bodies cardio, strength & mental strength on the line to show just how valuable a strong mind can be during tough situations, and how the support from others can help you get through it.

We believe as staff at Snap Mt Wellington we play a vital role in the community by showing support, caring and making others feel comfortable in their own skin.
