I'm Tash and I've signed up to IT Heavy Hitters charity boxing event, raising funds for Key To Life suicide prevention/awareness
Wellington
I lost my husband Mike on 30th Dec 2016 to suicide so this cause is very close to my heart .
Over the last 4 years the heavy hitters events have raised over $209,000 for the Key Of Life Trust whom are aiming to affect positive social change surrounding suicide prevention/awareness and mental health in New Zealand
This intense 14 week boxing boot camp programme will test everyone attending physically and emotionally, lets see if i can finally learn to block my head. I will never want to hear the song Roxanne again after this has finished, and if I do I'm sure I'll go into burpee mode.
5th May is fight night and I'm hoping to put gloves on and be lucky enough to get a chance to get in the ring, I'm training with Red team and if I dont get a fight I'll be there wearing red supporting my team.
Want to help raise funds for those in need and help make a difference.
Half way through 15 March 2018
I'd just like to say a very big thank you to everyone for there support and very kind donationsđŸ˜€
Can't believe we are half way through already wow where has the time gone. Well I'm still training hard 3 times a week, plus extra where I have time, sweating buckets, eating lots of lollies to keep my energy levels up.
Still not confirmed if I get a fight as yet, but if I do I'll be fit and ready.
I will update as soon as I have more information
Thank you again xx
