Kat and Nat run for Luna

Please support us to run the Auckland Marathon for baby Luna who was born to our cousin Olivia in June with a serious heart condition.

At 34 weeks gestation our cousin Olivia and her partner Donovan got the devastating news that their beautiful baby girl was going to be born with HLHS - Hyperplastic Left Heart Syndrome with severe aortic stenosis, muscular VSD and coarction of the aorta.

This means the left hand side of baby's heart had stopped growing.

Olivia and Donovan welcomed Luna to the world on the 7th June 2016. A healthy 8lb4oz 53cm, Luna was pure perfection on the outside but so broken on the inside.

She has spent most of her short life in Starship Hospital and has endured two open heart surgeries already with more to come.

There is still a long road ahead and Olivia and Donovan need all the support that we can get to help them on this incredibly difficult journey.
