In the last 15 months i have lost over 50kg and gained a love of fitness. I will be taking part in my first 10km event in Christchurch in June and would like to use this as an opportunity to raise money for the Life Flight Trust. Gain $$ per KM. My aim is to raise $500. This is really nothing compared to the continued support this organisation needs to keep going and supporting NZers with emergency air ambulance & helicopter operations.

When time is critical and a life is on the line, Life Flight are here. Every single day, four people will need the help of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter or Air Ambulance Plane.

I am taking part in my first 10km running event, the first weekend of June in Chch. I wanted to use this as an opportunity to fundraise and give back. The Life Flight Trust is a charity i love supporting, my family have benefitted from this service many years ago & they continue to provide a necessary service for individuals. NZ needs an air ambulance service for emergency patient transportation and continually rely on donations to be able to keep the service going.

Great cause Kit. I have had two occasions to be grateful to the Life Flight Trust and the first was when your little brother was born 22 year ago and we went form Wellington to Auckland to Greenlane Hospital to save his life and the second was when I was hunting in the Ruahine's and I called in the LFT helicopter to rescue a young girl who was on a horse trek and having a major asthma attack.
