Life Flight

Life Flight

Each year over 1,500 people need time-critical aeromedical care. With your support, Life Flight are there for them.

Nationwide

Life Flight is a charity providing Emergency Air Services - when time is critical and a life is on the line, we’re there. We operate a 24/7 service flying approximately 1500 missions a year. To date 36,000 people have been helped by Life Flight in their hour of need. For many, that emergency flight saved their life.

When there are minutes to spare or the location is challenging, our Wellington-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter team get a call. Life Flight also operates a nationwide air ambulance service. These flying intensive care wards transfer critically ill patients, including premature babies, to get the specialist care they urgently need.

Please help the critically ill and injured in your community receive the vital care they need quickly and safely by donating today.
