Providing educational resources to communities to build a well informed society, for we are not just NZ citizens but citizens of the world.
Nationwide
Humanity Matters New Zealand wants to provide education materials on the importance of human rights in Aotearoa. Aotearoa New Zealand is a nation full of diverse communities and with this comes challenges, but they don’t have to be, we can live together as one, we can learn from each other and through acceptance, compassion and empathy we can build a strong, well informed society that embraces diversity.
Humanity Matters New Zealand wants to help by educating our next generations of Kiwis to be more accepting, understanding, compassionate and embracing of diversity
We are developing educational resources and professional development for educators in the area of human rights, with a focus on race/ethnicity and gender. Our resources will enable educators to create a safe place for students to talk openly about their ideas and bring to the surface misunderstandings and misconceptions so that educators like teachers, community leaders can address those. Current students go on to become the future adults of our country, but what do we want them to have in their toolbox to be able to make change?
Support Humanity Matters NZ to provide resources and training to tamariki, by making a donation to this campaign. Your donation will help the next generation be well informed and understand their place in the world.
We provide educational resources and consulting expertise for educators and schools, with a focus on mis/disinformation, race/ethnicity and gender and a particular specialisation in genocide.
