Megan's birthday fundraiser!

Welcome to my birthday fundraiser page! Barnardos provide social services, care and education for NZ children to equip them with the education, life skills and motivation to overcome hardship. I love the work that this charity does :)

We know it's been a hard time for everyone but I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for a child who also has to carry the burden of hardship on top of their schooling completely disrupted and everything else. Although things may not seem so bad on the surface (at least from my privileged view point) I've had a friend who manages property in Auckland tell me that he's seen domestic violence shoot right up, and that's just one person's account. Early intervention is so important to changing the trajectory of someone's life.

To provide some motivation for this fundraiser, if I can raise over $200 then I will make a dance video. I think most of you know, I've been really obsessing over dance recently. I'm an enthusiastic rookie but still pretty shy, so what I can offer in return is an exclusive viewing of my fresh rookie moves for some fun comedic entertainment.
