Running/Walking 140km across 28 days.
Rothesay Bay, Auckland
In March 2014, I lost my Dad to a sudden heart attack two days before my 11th birthday. This loss has been incredibly hard on myself and my family and I sadly have many friends who share similar stories to mine. Heart disease is New Zealand's single biggest killer and men are more likely to have a heart attack than women.
As February is heart disease awareness month I wanted to take the opportunity to raise money for The Heart Foundation, an incredible charity dedicated to stopping New Zealander's dying prematurely from heart disease.
I will be running/walking 140km over the month of February in memory of my Dad to raise money. I would greatly appreciate any and all donations!!
