Milton's first half Iron Man

$1,400 of $2,500 goal
Given by 25 generous donors in around 4 months

On September the 8th I'm going to swim 1.9kms, cycle 90kms and run 21 clicks to fundraise for Mental health, Stroke and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Nationwide

I've battled on and off with Mental Health since leaving school whether I knew it or not and it can make every aspect of one's life so bloody difficult. I'm lucky that I have people in my life who I can turn to and that I can "think out loud" in front of most of the time. I had a good bout recently that was pretty bloody scary and the idea of fundraising for mental health motivated me to start training rigorously and within a few days/a week felt like a completely new human(It's a constant work in progress) so I want to raise as much money and awareness as possible to help those "trudging through the mud". A few years ago my Dad had a stroke and recently my best friend lost her mother to a stroke. She was the most beautiful lady in the world and If we can raise money to help keep souls like Jojo on the face of the planet longer then I'll happily put my body through the rigour. Finally my Persian brother from another mother has been out of action since the start of the year with a severe form of rheumatoid arthritis. He hasn't complained once and has been grafting every day to get back to full health so he can sweat and slobber over those of us unfortunate enough to love him. I could go on but am sure most of you have already lost interest or know someone effected by either of these causes and people who could benefit if they had more dough. If so if you could chip in whatever you can that would be much appreciated by myself, the chosen foundations and the benefactors of your generosity. Muchos Gracias, Milton
