Dance your heart out at the Most Wuthering Heights Day Flashmob, Auckland, raising money for KidsCan and children affected by poverty!

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is an international tradition, which started in 2013 as part of the Brighton Fringe. Participants dress up emulating the iconic flowing red dress from Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights video and perform the distinctive dance routine! In 2016 we had our first 'Wuthering' event in Auckland city.

For the first time we are trialling running it as a public event that anyone can just join in on. We hope that people will gather friends or social groups and attend together, but individuals are also very welcome!

Information will be posted on the Facebook event page and on Instagram so people can learn the routine ahead of time if they want to, and prepare costumes, and network with others. Meet-up will be in Auckland Domain, but exact location will be secret for a while!

Participation requires a donation / koha (suggested $5) to KidsCan under your own name, and a red dress or red outfit to blend in with our group.

We so enjoyed performing the Wuthering Heights dance at Auckland Domain, and spreading some joy around! We had 20 enthusiastic dancers, and lovely supporters / audience, and hope to build on this with bigger numbers and more funds raised next year in July!
