NO BOOZE BERN for Heart Kids NZ (JULY)

Morningside, Auckland

So for July I am giving up the grog, yup, no booze Bern...Why??? To raise much needed funds for Heart Kids, a charity that supports families whose children have heart issues.

Why this charity? Every week 12 babies are born with a Childhood (or Congenital) Heart Defect (CHD) and over 550 major heart surgeries are carried out on children each year.

Our family experienced the loss of a beautiful boy, due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. If medical technology can help prevent this happening, I am all for it...so dig deep people and show the love for Heart Kids and also the love for Bern …cause you know how much I LOVE my wine!

Thank your for all your support to @heartkids. Truth be told, it certainly wasn't about me this July, but about the children and families who need this vital support . So high fives to you!!!
