1 in 100 babies born will be born with a Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). Did you know undergoing heart surgery is not a cure for those with CHD? Children with childhood heart disease will face unique challenges for the rest of their lives and for many, this includes ongoing medical treatment and repeated heart surgeries.

Heart Kids provides practical and emotional support to heart kids and their families through life. Support begins during pregnancy when many heart defects are diagnosed, and continues through birth and childhood, right into adulthood, via a pathway of parent groups, family days, and camps for heart kids, teens, and young adults.
