Orla runs the Rotorua Marathon...!

Kia ora! My name is Orla and I will be running the Rotorua marathon on the 4th of May to raise money for Lifeline Aotearoa in memory of my wonderful friend Emma Crampton. Lifeline provide a 24/7 free phone and text service for those in need - they receive 7000 calls and 20,000 texts a month - with no government funding, they rely entirely on donations to continue the service.

Running has had a hugely positive impact on my own mental health but I have never tackled anything over 21km, so this is a big challenge for me! If you need any more motivation to back me on my journey, I will match all donations up to $500.
