For many young ones the struggle is real. The numbers of rangatahi living rough has escalated massively in the past year in Auckland. Mā te Huruhuru kaupapa support rangatahi Māori to have the best shot at life, despite the challenges they face in finding home, suicide prevention, and gaining meaningful jobs.

Ngā Puna o Waiōrea celebrates our 30-year anniversary in 2025 with the first PunaFest 2025. A one-day festival of music, art, speakers, kai, market stalls and workshops to share the magic of a Māori world. We encourage your pay forward to Mā Te Huruhuru to support and expand the incredible mahi they do to not leave our young people behind.
