Raising Money for Worthy Charities
We are a group of people who love to dance and want to use this passion to give back to our community and these worthy charities
Canterbury
On the 7th of March 2015 at the Templeton Community Centre there will be the inaugural Christchurch Dance-a-thon. This is an idea born out of wanting to turn love of dance into something good in our community
The way the event will work is that teams of up to 10 people will choose to undertake either a 6 or a 12 hour challenge. They will then fundraise for our awesome charities (StarJam (an organisation that teaches performing arts to young people with disabilities), Alzheimers Canterbury (a group that supports those living with Alzheimers and their families) and CASPER (Community Action on
Suicide Prevention, Education and Research).
On the day one person from each team must be on the floor and dancing for the whole of that teams allocated challenge
