In honour of Millie we are doing the Color Run to raise money for the Brydie Lauder Charitable Trust, to help them support other families.
Canterbury
Beautiful Millie Nielsen died Nov 2014, aged 8, the result of the complications of Epilepsy. She was a courageous, loving little girl who loved music, flowers and the colour purple. She taught so many people about strength, courage and love.
When the family were told that she may not have much time, several charities stepped up to help the family create some special moments and precious memories.
This year we would like to make sure these charities can continue to help other families make their own special memories.
So... In honour of Millie we are going to do the Color Run to raise money for the Brydie Lauder Charitable Trust, supporting and assisting paediatric neurology. This is an amazing trust doing amazing work!
In Millie's life she experienced pain and seizures more horrifc than anyone can even imagine, but would still get up in the morning and be her happy self. She is the inspiration for taking on this 5km run!
