We fundraise to assist the Paediatric Neurology service to be able to purchase new equipment or what they are needing to continue to provide the dedicated care they give all the beautiful Neurology children.

We started in August 2012 and we have had a fundrasier in October 2012 and also another in January 2013 and now organising a ball in March 2013. We are nearly at the point of purchasing the first piece of new equipment.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
