raising awareness for suicide prevention.

Wellington

Over the years I’ve lost two very dear friends to suicide. Mental health, while it’s getting easier to have a conversation there is still an attitude that you just need to get on with it. How often are you asked “how are you?” and you feel compelled to say “good thanks” knowing that any other response will be awkward. The Key to Life Charitable Trust creates greater awareness around suicide and mental health in NZ, particularly with our youth. We need to be having better conversations, knowing it’s ok to say “I’m not ok” and have others ask “how can I help?”

The IT Heavy Hitters events over the last 4 years have raised over $209,000 for The Key to Life Charitable Trust. This is a corporate boxing event with 14 weeks of hard out training, culminating in a fight night on May 5th. This year I’ve joined the red team to put on my gloves to raise awareness for suicide prevention, please help me to support this great cause by donating to my give a little page
