Helping grieving parents

Woolston, Christchurch

I’m raising funds in honour of my precious son, Dáithí, who passed away in July 2024.

Losing a baby is an unimaginable pain no parent should ever have to face. Through this fundraiser, I want to support other families who find themselves in the same situation—grieving, searching for connection, and needing compassionate care.

All proceeds will go directly to SANDS New Zealand, an incredible organisation that provides resources, support, and community for families navigating baby and infant loss across Aotearoa.

This cause is deeply personal to me, and every donation—no matter the size—means so much. Together, we can help other parents feel less alone and ensure they have the support they need during the hardest of times.

Thank you for standing beside me in honouring Dáithí’s memory and making a difference for others.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
