Melanoma, such a preventable cancer.

The more research and development that goes into immuno therapy drugs and educating people about the sun the less chance u have of getting this type of cancer.

Please get regular skin checks, ask a family member to take photos of your moles or spots to see any changes.

All I can say if you are in doubt get it checked out Immediately, it’s your best change of surviving.

Unfortunately we found this to late and my darl was taken way to early. Hospice was amazing throughout our 5 months and as a family we were able to nurse at home with the help of an incredible nurse who has remained a friend and now a mum to 2 lovely babies.

Long story short I’m going to ride the length of NZ in Feb 2022 3000kms and would love to raise a bit of money for both these amazing charities.

Knowing I may have helped a family out by doing this fundraiser made the ride all worth while and helped me everyday to keep the wheels turning. My life going forward has been enriched, I will always miss the love of my life RIP My darl you were with all the way in Spirit always in my heart ❤️Never far from my thoughts
