570km over 57 days of running for mental health
Kingsland, Auckland
My friend Grant was just 57 when we lost him—far too soon. He was one of the good ones: generous, kind, and full of witty/cheeky humour. As well as a good friend, he was a work colleague, being a lifetime member of the lighting industry and truly respected by all that knew him.
To honor his life and raise awareness, I’m running 57 days in a row, with a total goal of 570km - 10km for every year of his life. Every step is for him - and for everyone fighting their own invisible battles.
Behind many smiles, there’s a silent struggle. It’s time we talked more openly about mental health and treated it with the same care and seriousness as physical health—because everyone deserves to be heard and supported.
All funds raised will go directly to the Mental Health Foundation, supporting mental health services, outreach, and education for those who need it most.
Thank you for your support!
