Running for Humanitarian Aid

  • Update from Ukraine

The second container of humanitarian aid that we packed in July has made it's way to Ukraine!

It arrived to Kyiv in October and we have had numerous updates in the last few months that we wanted to share with you. Medicine, clothing, blankets and toys have been distributed amongst numerous organisations and then delivered to Ukrainians. Here are some photos of where they have ended up. This would not have been possible without your generous donations and we want to thank you on behalf of all Ukrainians.

UANZ is now fundraising for a third container, which will contain vital medical equipment, including hundreds of mobility chairs generously donated to us. Your donation will cover the shipping costs to transport these life-changing mobility chairs from New Zealand to Ukraine, and other logistic expenses. If you would like contribute please visit their page: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/help-wounded-ukrainians-to-live-their-lives.

    Nga mihi nui Aotearoa

Wow! We are blown away by all the support so far! With your help our page has helped reach the set target for the shipping costs of the container - thank you!

But the work is not over.

UANZ has been working with a NZ company manufacturing thermal socks and clothing to be shipped to Ukrainians alongside all the donations we have received. There is no limit to how much can be sent over.

Almost 600 sets of thermal clothing has been packed already and will be shipped so far, however so much more is needed! All further donations will go towards this cause.

Our fundraiser has only 3 days left so please consider making another donation and / or spread the word at mahi and with your whanau and friends.

The container will be loaded later this month - we will make sure to post updates.

    Nga mihi nui Aotearoa!

    💙💛
