Running For Romilly

Running the Auckland Half Marathon to raise money for Sands New Zealand, the baby loss charity.

Nationwide

On 26 June 2020 my neice, Romilly Zillah was born sleeping. Her family got to spend precious time with her thanks to Sands New Zealand.

I will never be able to run and play with Romilly, but I will run for her, and all the other angel-born babies and their families in New Zealand. I will run the Auckland Half Marathon in November, and every step is for Romilly. I can currently run about 3km, so there will be lots of training to do before the Auckland Half Marathon (21km!)

100% of the money I raise will go to Sands Wellington and Skylight, to support the wonderful, and heartbreaking work they do.

Please help me celebrate a Little Life, not a Little Loss.

Aroha  1 December 2020

My fundraising event is almost done, and two wonderful charities are going to benefit from the aroha you all helpped create. I ran the race, but all the angle-famillies are going the hard yards.

Don't give up- we celebrate a little life, not a little loss xxx
