Life Flight for Life

Dad and I are running the Hawkes Bay Half Marathon to raise funds for Life Flight.

Here is my Sister and her partners story:

Thank-you Life Flight!

Without Life Flight our beautiful children may not be with us today.

Our twins were born in a hurry at only 27 weeks gestation and needed to be flown immediately to Wellington Hospital (from Hawkes Bay) for treatment.

A few weeks later we returned to Hastings Hospital where our daughter became critically ill, Life Flight were contacted again and we returned to Wellington for several life-saving surgeries.

After 4 months in hospital we finally got flown back to Hawkes Bay with both our children ready to come home.

We are truly blessed to live in a country where these emergency services are accessible. We are forever grateful.
