Charity Auction

One of our residents Sally Sims was featured in last weekends NZ Hearld article about Motor Neurone disease.

After Sally spent a lifetime nursing, looking after people with Motor Neurone Disease. Sally now has the dreaded disease,

Sally’s wish is to create a fund to give to Motor Neurone disease research for this life taking disease.

We are taking a 3 pronged approach:

1. The residents of Summerset retirement village are holding a charity Auction on Saturday 26th, August at 1pm. You could assist by donating any goods or services. One of our team will collect.

2. A give a little page is being set up today.

3. A raffle for a queen size beautiful quilt made by Sally

You are very welcome to attend the auction.

Tea/coffee and cake will be available for only $5 from 12 o’clock

To donate to the Auction please contact:
