Shanaz Deendost Miss Five Crowns New Zealand Youthline Fundraiser

Shanaz Deendost fundraising for Youthline.

Born on October 9th in the beautiful city of Kabul to afghan parents, Shanaz is the epitome of confidence and determination. Believing that dedicating your time In guiding those willing to help, can restore people’s faith in humanity.

Shanaz holds a passion for many professions such as aviation, beauty, health and entertainment sectors and has not been shy of exploring or giving new things a go. She is qualified in the Travel & Tourism industry and Makeup artistry for Bridal and Entertainment. She is currently employed full time by Waitemata District Health Board and does makeup for Film and TV and the bridal industry occasionally. Shanaz is fluent in 4 languages and partial in 3 languages.

One passion that’s very dear to Shanaz is Charitible work and charities.

Coming from a war torn country and seeing people experience torture and brutality, Shanaz knows that it's not easy living in such a demanding world. She has been involved in many charitable organizations here in New Zealand and has heard many stories from youth and women.

She continues to give back to organizations and communities on her own special day, being her Birthday. She loves spending this day surrounded by orphans, elderly; disabled in fact anyone in need. She offers loads of gifts, smiles and Hugs.

Shanaz is the founder of Compassionate Hearts a charitable website which is due to be launched at the end of May 2017.

Shanaz has also written a children’s book, which will be published in October 2018.

Currently a Miss Five Crowns NZ finalist 2017.

Shanaz is so honored to be part of Miss Five Crowns New Zealand who share the same value as her own (Women Empowerment and Achievement).

Shanaz loves music and sports and attends Martial arts and piano classes after work on certain days of the week.

In her absolute spare time Shanaz enjoys painting and has produced many amazing artifacts. She is also very family orientated person and enjoys fishing with her brothers, and spending time with her family.
