Christys Shave for Hospice

Hospice helps people make the most of their lives, providing holistic care and support at a time of vulnerability in peoples lives.

In 2011 my nana Pixie Rintoul was diagnosed with esophegeal cancer..... Though her illness was a matter of months, she remain the stoic courageous woman I had always known.

I was fortunate enough to spend alot of time caring for her while she was sick, and so saw first hand the wonderful gentle support offered by the Hospice staff in Whangarei.

In honour of my nana's memory and in support of Hospice New Zealand, if I am able to raise $3000 I will shave my hair off on my 27th birthday in June
