Sinda swims for Sweet Louise

Last year I had the support of many health professionals and supportive organisations during my cancer treatment. I now feel it is time to give back!

I am fundraising for Sweet Louise, a charity which supports women and men living with secondary breast cancer. I will swim 1 kilometre in the King of the Bays Ocean Swim series on April the 18th, something I didn't think I could do after my treatment.

Being a competitive sort of person, I have been training a lot. But I also realise that even though I am coming through the treatment, I am very lucky to be able to well enough to be able to compete in this event, unlike many of those living with secondary breast cancer, their choices are limited.

Thank you so much for supporting me, together we can help New Zealanders live positive lives with secondary breast cancer.
