The Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust is a community focused group that provides nationwide support, prevention workshops, promotes suicide prevention strategies, talking therapies and community education reducing stigma around mental health. Through the Hope centre (here in Dunedin) they provide bereavement support groups, drop in peer support as well as limited free therapy sessions . No only this they provide support when going through all the legal processes and coronal inquests that can sometimes be associated with successful attempts. Their service is invaluable and can do with all the support it can get.
So instead of shouting us a beer or a wine, shout us one through donating here this month.
