Stop the Chop & Support a friend

My wife (Jamie) has given her support to our dear friend and her family who are faced with some very real challenging times ahead as Alura goes thru her treatment for aggressive Leukemia.

Now I love my wife and her HAIR, however, Jamie has agreed to consider that if I am able to raise more money than she, she will seriously consider “Stopping the Chop”. My wife is the most dedicated person I know and when she makes up her mind you best get out of the way. That is just the type of person she is always giving to others, always willing to help and support others by giving of her time, talents and HAIR, and standing up to those who are unable to stand up for themselves.

Now for anybody who knows Jamie – this will not be an easy task, because when an immovable object (barrier or challenge) meets an unstoppable force (Jamie-Lee) things get done. But I too want to support our dear friend by also helping raise money for them and if I also get to save my Jamie's HAIR, well that's just an added bonus.

Alura update: she remains in hospital and is taking oral chemo and going through test and changes to her medicine until the Dr's have the Leukemia under control.
