Help CFNZ reach their goal of selling 55,000 chocolate fish through the month of May!

Auckland

In 2004 I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and slowly felt my ability to be free with how I live my life slowly slip away. Since having Trikafta funded in 2023, I have been given a new lease of life. I have fallen in love with running and use it to push my life to the limits. My aim in 2024 is to run 3 full marathons and 3 half marathons. I have already completed 2 halves and 1 full with Taupō full next up in August.

My main “why” for running is to help myself live as long as possible. Trikafta allows me to live an extra +27 years on top of my previous estimated mid 30s life expectancy, adding running into the mix im hoping to make that +40.

You can check out more of my story on Instagram, and throughout the month of May I am posting a daily fact about CF on my story.

May is Cystic Fibrosis awareness month, and for the month of May I will be fundraising for CFNZ. I’ll be selling chocolate fish for a gold coin donation.

CFNZ’s goal is to sell 55,000 chocolate fish throughout the month of May so let’s smash it!

Thank you!
