Quarter Ironman for New Lives Animal Rescue

Hi everyone. I am doing a Quarter Ironman on the 17th December, and would like to use my event to raise awareness and funds for New Lives Animal Rescue in Cambridge.
Waikato SPCA closed last week and New Lives has had to pick up a lot of extra work just before Christmas, so I really wanted to find a way to help them. I am a vet student and passionate about animal care & welfare so feel strongly about supporting such amazing & dedicated organisations.
I have only recently learned to swim, bike & run and this is the longest event I have ever done. I would really like my actions (suffering!) to have some benefit for others. Please consider donating :)
